OPERATION |
Concentrated adhesive supplied at 40% dry content with ethyl acetate , to be diluted on requirement. Dilution ratio suggested is 18 seconds CF4, i.e. add of 100 parts of solvent with 100 parts of BX 40 adhesive, to be adjusted depending on the final requirement or formulation. PROCESSING |
Any machine using doctor blade, or reverse rolls, or equivalent. Drying with air jet, or hot air tunnel,or IR, or drumm etc... The use of this product has to meet requirements of local rules or regulations relative to v.o.c. emission. Cleaning : with solvent such as ethyl acetate.
CHARACTERISTICS |
Convenient for most of substrates commonly used for lamination : paper, polyamid, pet, pe, polypropylen (plain, acrylic coated, metallised, pvdc..) .. with wetting tension over 38 dynes/cm². This product offers a good compromise between cohesion and adhesion , and provides good result on porous substrate .
RESTRICTION |
Avoid glueing on materials with low wetting tension as wax, lacqure, silicon...
STORAGE |
Closed drumm : 6 months , no ageing of two components adhesive. Pot life : depending on formulation and room temperature, 4 hours with crosslinker BTX-C ; add solvent to make up for evaporation and keep the right viscosity . |
